It's very time consuming to monitor the market and keep track of almost every single bit of news to use for trading and contra, and you need to have a nervous system capable of withstanding the periodic "shocks" which come along with sudden rallies or plunges.

So yes I think it's definitely possible, but far from easy.

Regards,
MusicwhizMusicwhizhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10950754156386935254noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28021668.post-76241851926575471602009-05-14T13:53:00.000+08:002009-05-14T13:53:00.000+08:00Hi Jeremy Ow,

As humans, we are bound to feel emotions when it concerns money, so it's how well you can control your emotions and keep doing a mental check on yourself. Haha I believe only a robot is emotionless, but then a robot is designed to process data, not think independently !

Regards,
MusicwhizMusicwhizhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10950754156386935254noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28021668.post-4830633569375985452009-05-14T13:51:00.000+08:002009-05-14T13:51:00.000+08:00Hi cif5000,

However, I think there are people who are good at shorting and short-term trading that makes great returns. They have good and reliable trading system for trading. They also have good discipline in cutting loss should things not go according to their judgment. These are the experienced traders with the right trading mindset and may make consistent good returns from their trades.Jeremy Ow Tai Panghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17228520684683905637noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28021668.post-32129138043820082822009-05-14T01:17:00.000+08:002009-05-14T01:17:00.000+08:00I believe a totally rational investor is never emo...I believe a totally rational investor is never emotionally affected by fall or rise in stock prices. He is not greedy about making money in stock market since he will not view the stock market as a lottery machine for making quick money. On the contrary, his primary concern is on the long term profitability of his invested businesses. Stock prices are only of secondary concern (to determine suitable price to buy the shares and sell it) after the fundamentals of the business is taken care of.Jeremy Ow Tai Panghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17228520684683905637noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28021668.post-36757990216843857602009-05-13T23:37:00.000+08:002009-05-13T23:37:00.000+08:00Seriously, are you feeling :) or :( now that the s...Seriously, are you feeling :) or :( now that the stock prices have gone up?cif5000https://www.blogger.com/profile/06501446537384033686noreply@blogger.com
